This week saw the Manufacturing Advisory Service launch its new campaign entitled Manufacturing Matters and at Oneflow we couldn't agree more. The campaign is set to raise the profile of manufacturing SME’s and is asking those involved in the sector to join in and speak up.
Oneflow has been working with manufacturing SME’s for 5 years now, helping them with Lean and Continuous Improvement Projects through our consultancy division. Often we have worked with clients who have been given grants by MAS to help pay for our services. Now as we develop our own manufacturing company, providing outsourced assembly services, the need to promote our great sector has never been more keenly felt. We are passionate about manufacturing.
“Manufacturing matters to all of us at Oneflow because it’s what we do and what we have all done most of our careers. Personally I love the feeling of being involved in making something tangible; products that people and other business buy and use every day. Working in a sector that creates value and building a great manufacturing business that provides more than just jobs is very satisfying. The UK has a great history of innovation and manufacturing and I hope it can continue to grow.” – Andrew Taylor, Operations Director at Oneflow Limited.
